In this role you will:

  • Develop and execute sales strategy for the growth in the UK market that ensures the achievement of Epredia sales goals and profitability

  • Manage the mechanics of a sales team daily; developing sales targets and sales activity metrics (e.g. Demo conversion rates, calls cycles, etc.); monitor performance and provide feedback

  • Establish regional business planning and ensure the team develops and implements area sales plans using the Value Selling methodology

  • Assess sales data/mix of specific product categories and institute measures to improve performance

  • Establish robust monthly, quarterly and long-term forecasting processes using Salesforce.com

  • Ensure consistent and accurate use of Salesforce.com data (sales funnel reports of projected bookings) to assist in monthly forecasting and product build plans

  • Provide commitments of expected bookings and sales revenue every month to the Epredia EMEA Leadership and assume ownership of forecasting accuracy

  • Control expenses against pre-established budget

  • Continually look to improve the sales processes, people, and sales coverage within the business

Skills you need for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree with strong experience selling into the healthcare market

  • Strong sales leader with the ability to develop and motivate people at all levels

  • A commercial mindset with strong knowledge of the financial skills used in a selling environment (forecasting, quotations, tenders, and managing priorities to meet revenue targets)

  • Substantiated capability to effectively negotiate and close business

  • Prior experience selling Diagnostics systems is desired

  • Exceptional analytical capability and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to build trust-based customer relationships at all levels including executive and C-Suite.

  • Team focused yet is self-motivated with a bias for action

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and persuasive communications abilities

  • Experience and demonstrated accountability with Salesforce.com or similar CRM

  • Ability to proactively plan and be adaptable to changing priorities

  • Experience in the clinical and/or histology laboratory space preferred

  • Ability to problem solve under pressure

  • Demonstrated passion for adding value to our customers

  • Willingness to travel internationally to accomplish assigned goals
